# Glimt > Glimt is a desktop breathing app for macOS and Windows that prompts you to take short guided breathing sessions during the workday. It is a one-time purchase ($39 for a personal license, $32 per seat for teams) with no subscription and no account. - Platforms: macOS 13 or later and Windows 10 or later. Runs from the menu bar (macOS) or system tray, with no dock icon. - Breathing patterns: Just Breathe (5-5 coherence), Box Breath (4-4-4-4), 4-7-8, Trikona A (4-4-4, hold on the inhale), Trikona B (4-0-4-4, hold on the exhale), or a custom pattern. Sessions repeat up to 30 rounds, paced by an animated orb (3D or flat 2D) or a custom visualization. - Reminders: at a fixed interval or at random within a range, limited to active hours. Optional micro reminders run a few slow breaths (four by default) that dismiss themselves. - Meeting-aware: pauses automatically while the microphone or camera is in use. No audio or video is captured. - macOS only: Shortcuts integration that runs any Shortcut when a session starts or ends. - Licensing: purchase gives a license key by email. A personal license activates on up to 2 computers. Team licenses are sold per seat (minimum 5 seats), one key per seat, 1 device per key. - AI agents: a built-in local MCP server (off by default) lets agents like Claude Code start breathing sessions, change settings and create custom 2D or 3D breathing visualizations. A free Claude Code plugin sets it up (https://glimtapp.io/agent). - Updates download in the background; when one is ready, the user can restart now or later. - Maker: built by Yornaath, an independent developer in Norway (https://glimtapp.io/about). Also known as "Glimt App"; not affiliated with the football club FK Bodø/Glimt. ## Product - [Glimt home page](https://glimtapp.io/): Features, supported platforms, current version, and the personal license purchase. - [Changelog](https://glimtapp.io/changelog): Release history with date and summary for each version; each links to full release notes. ## Pricing - [Pricing](https://glimtapp.io/pricing): What each license includes: personal license $39 one time for up to 2 computers, team licenses $32 per seat (minimum 5).
