Glimt for your coding agent
Let your agent start a breathing session when you’re stuck, tune your reminders and design your own breathing visuals, through Glimt’s local MCP server.
/plugin marketplace add yornaath/glimt-agent-plugin/plugin install glimt-app-agent-plugin@glimtRun them one at a time in Claude Code.
What your agent can do
Breathe on cue
Your agent can start a session when you sound stressed, when a long task kicks off, or when you ask. It can use your own preset or make up a pattern on the spot.
Presets and playlists
Ask for a calming evening routine and your agent builds the presets and strings them into a playlist.
Reminders and settings
Change how often Glimt reminds you, what it plays and when it pauses, all in plain language.
Your own visualizations
Describe a breathing animation and your agent writes it in 2D canvas or three.js. It previews the result before installing it in Glimt.
Set up in three steps
- 1
Turn on the MCP server
In Glimt, open Settings and switch on Enable MCP server. Keep Glimt running, since the plugin connects through it. - 2
Install the plugin in Claude Code
›/plugin marketplace add yornaath/glimt-agent-plugin›/plugin install glimt-app-agent-plugin@glimtRun them one at a time in Claude Code.
- 3
Check the connection
Run/mcpand check thatglimtis connected. Then ask Claude to “start a short breathing session”.
Using Cursor, VS Code, Codex or Claude Desktop? Glimt’s MCP settings have a ready-made config for each, with the access token filled in.
Stays on your machine
Local only
The MCP server listens on 127.0.0.1 and runs only while Glimt is open. Nothing goes over the internet.
Token protected
Agents need an access token to connect. The plugin reads it from Glimt for you, and you can rotate it any time.
Sandboxed visuals
Visualizations your agent writes run in a sandbox with no network access. Your agent also can't switch off the server or change its settings.
